Simply

She sank gratefully into the soft, warm pile of blankets and pillow; the instant relief she felt when her butt hit the bed made her hum in pleasure.  It was a hard day, everything seemed to have been trying to trip her over one way or another.  But she made it, and she was finally done with everything life has to throw at her for now.  She closed her eyes and collapsed back onto her fluffy bed, her blanket seemed to wrap around her in a hug, as if it knew how tired she was and trying to comfort her.  She snuggled closer to the clean, plush pillow and inhaled the soft scent of sleep that could only be found in one’s own bed.

She ran her hands down her bed, savoring the silky feel of her safe haven, where she could forget how cruel and mean the world could be. It was where she had plushies that would give her loving hugs whenever she wanted.  She grabbed a handful of the blankets around her and pulled it close to her, snuggling into the warmth it gave her.  It was heavenly, and she couldn’t imagine anywhere else she would rather be.  She stretched her legs out underneath the plush blanket, sighed happily, as the soft fabric slid soothingly against her tired limbs.  Her eyes blinked tiredly a few times before succumbing to the heavy slumber that swept over her body.  At that moment, to her, nothing in the world could be better than a simple moment like this.
